We were going to use this sheet of plastic to make the shots look less intense in colour, for example our club scenes look very purple and pink - by using this sheet of plastic they would have been toned down. We didn't use this in the end as it wasn't necessary, the backdrops gave a similar effect and there wasn't enough time left to set it up whilst filming.
This is the white wall we used in the background for our club scenes and silhouette shots, it produced dark shadows to give the effect of more people in the scene and a similar atmosphere of a club. With the silhouette shots, the shadows created looked very effective and professional.
This is the backdrop we used for the main master shot of the star singing in front of the white background. The background of the shot looked smooth, making it look more professional.
